Blend is exactly what it sounds like: a blend of businesses including coffee, tea, and self-care products. I wanted to create a project to improve my skills in brand design and digital illustration. What better to test my skills than a cozy coffee shop? The twist on this business was that it not only sold coffee and tea but also created self-care products infused with the leaves and grounds from their favorite beverages. The first order was the logo, and I wanted to try Procreate for the first time. I decided the logo would be their mascot, a yellow snake commonly found living around coffee fields and tea bushes. Creating thumbnails for the main logo was my favorite part, so fun that I had too many good ideas. I decided to have variations of the logo, each highlighting a different niche of the business. I paired the logo with different illustrated patterns to represent each unique flavor and product. Finally, I tied everything together by mocking up the ambience and feel of the shop itself; it was a playful result.
